Anxhela Gramo
M.A in Counseling Psychology, Marymount University, Virginia, USA 2003; BSW, Tirana University, Albania 1996
Since 2003, Ms. Gramo lectures psychology at the University of New York in Tirana, Albania. During 1997- 2000, Ms. Gramo lectured at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Tirana University.
In January 2004, she started her clinical practice in the Center for Psychotherapy in Tirana and entered the intensive training on psychoanalytic psychotherapy provided by European Association of Psychotherapy, Vienna, Austria.
Her professional experience in the United States includes counseling for individuals who suffer from chronic mental disorders at Community Residences in Arlington, Virginia; agency-based therapy for cultural minorities & refugees with mental health needs at the Center for Multicultural & Human Services, Falls Church, Virginia.
Fields of her clinical interests include Trauma, Depression, and Developmental Issues of Adolescents.

Artemisi Shehu
I’m graduated in 2000 as a Clinical Psychologist. I belong to the first psychologist’s generation graduated in Albania . Since I have completed the studies I teach in the Faculty of Social Sciences in the Department of Psychology subjects of Abnormal Psychology and Psychology of Communication.
I have finished as well the post-graduated studies for ‘Counseling’ in the Faculty of Social Sciences in Tirana , Albania . Actually, I participate in the Albanian Association for Psychotherapy and part of the long-term training for Psychotherapy under the supervision of European psychotherapists.
My professional experience began until 1999 with me modest contribution as a psychology student in psychologically supporting the Kosovo refugees. I have done training period in the different institutions which aim was psychological treatment. I have been participant and trainer as well in several psychosocial trainings. Actually, I practice my psychological knowledge’s as a psychologist in the Albanian Center for Psychotherapy.

I am Erinda Shah (Halilaj) graduated from the University of social science in the year 2000, Tirana. My work experience leads to different fields as, studies, evaluation, academic, social services etc, before I finished my studies and to be graduated as a master for social science in the year 2005.
I have been working for almost 5 year in World Health Organization for Mental Health Program and simultaneously finishing my 5 year Psychotherapy training provided by “European Association for Psychotherapy and Albanian Association for Psychotherapy”.
On having taken interest and experiences in social science and psychotherapy I have greatly understood my being and able to see the needs of the people interested in psychotherapy.

Izela Tahsini works as a lecturer in the Social Work Department, Faculty of Social Sciences, Tirana University , Where she teaches: Social Work with Families, School Social Work, Introduction to Psychotherapy.
She has worked since 1996-2002 as a manager in the Center “Psycho-social and medical services for the woman and child” and as a counselor on individual and relationship issues, reproductive health, early childhood and has also work experience on gender issues.
She has a Bachelor in Social Work since 1997. Now, she has the Master Degree in Social Work and is working on her doctoral thesis on child maltreatment and the role of the school social worker.
She is general secretary of the Albanian Association for Psychotherapy and since January 2004 works as a psychotherapist in the Center of Psychotherapy , under the continuous supervision and training of the representatives of EAP (European Association of Psychotherapy) and lecturers of Sigmund Freud University in Vienna . This training has started in 2000 and will be finalized in 2007, with the achievement of the European Certificate of Psychotherapy, a document that allows exercising the profession in all the European member countries and guarantees the quality of the offered services.

Neli Demi has finished his studies in General Medicine in 1994 and later was specialized in Psychiatry in the University Hospital Center “Mother Theresa” in Tirana.
From almost 6 years, Neli works for the World Health Organization, Mental Health Program. During his practice in the Clinic of Psychiatry and also within his role in assisting the initiation of Community Mental Health Services, he gains enough experience and knowledge to understand that Psychotherapy is a powerful and effective tool that helps people and relations to heal, grow and empower.
In 1998, he get in contact with the European Association for Psychotherapy and influences the organization of spreading of this discipline among mental health professionals in Albania.
From the creation of the Albanian Association for Psychotherapy, he is the president of this association.

Sonila Meçaj has studied Psychology in University of Tirana, Faculty of Social Sciences, Department of Psychology. She has been graduated in 2000 as Clinical Psychologist.
Since that time she is working in the Community Mental Health Center in Tirana. From June 2004 she is involved in the Albanian Development Center for Mental Health initially as a project manager, actually working in Promotion of mental health sector.
She is also member of the Albanian Association for Psychotherapy and she’s pleasurably practicing this profession in the Psychotherapy Center of Tirana, opened by this association on January 2004.
